The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization is made up of members of Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois communities who are committed to developing and improving transportation where they live.
Our Mission
Our challenge is in expanding and maintaining all of the area's transportation systems to meet the growing needs of our region. We strive to develop and improve our highways, railways, ports, airports, transit, cycling and pedestrian systems alike. Addressing this challenge is SEMPO’s top priority and ongoing mission.
