Public Participation Goal, Strategies and Policies
Federal regulations require each MPO to adopt a Public Participation Plan (PPP) that establishes formal policies and strategies for ensuring the public is provided with, and properly notified of, opportunities to participate in the development of its plans, programs, and other activities. In the development of its PPP, SEMPO strives to involve stakeholders having an important role in the transportation planning process.
