The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) will hold public information meetings on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Osage Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Thursday, April 2 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Jackson Civic Center, 381 E Deerwood Dr, Jackson, Missouri, regarding the 2027 – 2030 Transportation Improvement Program. The TIP contains a prioritized, fiscally-constrained, multi-year list of federally funded transportation projects and improvements within the SEMPO Metropolitan Planning Area, which authorizes the obligation of federal funds for listed projects and operations. The meeting will be open house style and for informational purposes.
